A Student’s Prayer for a New School Year

Lord Jesus, I ask for Your help as I begin this new school year.

Allow me to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put before me.

Open my eyes to the new challenges and exciting opportunities that this new school year brings.

Open my heart and mind to new friends and new teachers.

Give me a generous spirit to be enthusiastic with my studies and courage to accept new opportunities.

Help me to be attentive to my teachers and let me experience Your presence in my new friends.

Jesus, inspire me to do my best this year! Amen

Youth Breakout 2014

There will be a Sheaves for Christ Breakout Rally  this Friday, September 5th at 7:30 at First Church of Pearland.  Cost is $10 registration.  The special speaker will be Bro. Sammy Sherrill.  There will be an after party until 12:00 a.m.  There will be food trucks, tons of give-aways and a basketball tournament.  Please make plans to be a part of the worship and fellowship and support Sheaves for Christ! “Breaking Chains” Youth Revival

The POSF will be having an area Youth Revival June 13-14.  $10 admission for the whole weekend or $5 per day which includes food.

Friday night service at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday afternoon service  at 2:0o p.m.

Saturday night fun at 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. (games, Frito pies, ice cream  and lots of fun!!

Spread the word and get ready to see great and mighty things to happen during this revival!  Pray for our youth to receive freedom from chains that bind their walk with God.
